The Second Generation Gravitational Wave Detectors are built and undergoing commissioning. The focus of GWADW 2015 activities will be towards setting the requirements for the technologies and designs needed for near term (<5 years) and longer term (>5 years) evolution of these Advanced Detectors, as members of a worldwide network.
This year a new format for GWADW will be tested, intended to restore the more intimate atmosphere that it had when it was a smaller gathering. Two days have been set aside, solely for detailed workshop activities. Four workshops are scheduled for the second and third days of GWADW 2015. On the last day, detailed reports of the result of these deliberations will be presented to all of the participants.
